The choice of deck and its components depends on your body type, your height, and of course, your riding style.

If you're on the lighter side and not very tall, go for a lightweight scooter (between 2.8 and 3.5 kg). It'll be easier to handle and help you progress faster. On the other hand, if you're heavier, you'll need a more solid model — over 3.5 kg — to absorb impacts better.
