Versatyl : The Accessible and High-Performance Freestyle Scooter
The mission of Versatyl is to make freestyle accessible without compromising on quality. By combining durable materials with an innovative design, the brand offers scooters that are both affordable and high-performing. It allows riders to progress quickly and with confidence.
Versatyl scooters are seen as entry-level products, perfect for getting started in the sport. If you’re a young rider curious to explore freestyle scootering, Versatyl is more than a perfect choice to begin with.
A Story of Passion
Initially an engineer, Kevin Demay decided to combine his passion with his professional career by putting his skills to work for freestyle scooter brands such as Addict and TSI. Over the years, he also learned the inner workings of a business, eventually deciding to create his own brand : ETHIC.
He didn’t stop there, and continued his entrepreneurial journey by launching his second freestyle scooter brand : Versatyl, with the goal of meeting the needs of beginners who want to discover the sport with high-performance, well-adapted gear.
The Birth of One of the Lightest Scooters on the Market
In 2020, Versatyl collaborated with Antoine Magalhaes, better known as Scoot2Street, to create a special edition of the Bloody Mary V2 scooter.
Antoine Magalhaes is an extreme sports athlete and renowned YouTuber in the freestyle scooter scene. He launched his YouTube channel, Scoot2Street, in September 2012, where he shares scooter adventures, acrobatic tricks, and mechanical tips. His channel has accumulated over 404 million views and has more than 1.9 million subscribers.
This collaboration led to the creation of one of the lightest models on the market, weighing around 2.94 kg, offering exceptional manoeuvrability and optimal responsiveness underfoot.
